The certified solution to install a rear cargo door switch kit to warn pilot and co-pilot if the rear cargo door is left opened or is not properly closed.

Swiss Helicopter Engineering has developed and certified in cooperation with Swiss Helicopter Maintenance (www.shm-ag.ch) a rear cargo door switch kit. This optional system triggers a caution message on the warning panel in the cockpit the if the rear cargo door is left opened or is not properly closed. The kit is an extension of the original system from Airbus Helicopter indicating when cargo doors are unlocked.

No modification of the instrument panel.
