Skid helicopters towing requires professional Ground Support Equipment. Current solutions mostly rely on hydraulics leading to the need of continuous maintenance and frequent oil leakages. Other non-hydraulic solutions require a considerable operator effort to be used and safety is not guaranteed.

HeliMule inheritates the best from those two, resulting in a completely mechanical system powered by a gas spring and a safety retaining mechanism. No oil, no maintenance, 100% safe and effortless usage.

Finding a solution to lift an helicopter without making use of hydraulics and without putting too much effort on the operators was not easy. HeliMule relies on a reduction mechanism powered by a gas spring: no effort, no oil, no maintenance.

Use HeliMule is SAFE

Activate a mechanical system with a lever cannot be made without thinking about safety. HeliMule embeds a ratchet clutch capable of retaining the full helicopter load at any lifting stage. If anything happens to the operator, HeliMule will retain the load.
